The Veterans Connection (TVC) is a reliable 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on serving our Military Veterans and First Responders suffering from mental health challenges and helping them make a smooth transition back into society. TVC was co-founded in 2012 by Eric Ranks who is a self-made entrepreneur, motivational speaker, corporate executive with over 24 years experience, and a published author featured on Fox, NBC and CBS, as well as other news sites. He’s known for having a passion for helping others which shows through his work as President and Executive Director of TVC.
The mission of The Veterans Connection (TVC) is to ensure every Veteran who served our country is provided resources for mental health, PTSD, and suicide prevention. TVC focuses on a four phase approach to help improve Veteran quality of life: CONNECT - TVC helps Veterans find meaningful connections within a community that want to help provide a feeling of belonging, safety, and accountability. EMPOWER - TVC strives to help Veterans meet basic needs like food, housing, transportations and child care etc. to minimize excessive distress. ALIGN - TVC helps Veterans access vetted alternative healing solutions that develop and maintain a healthy mind, body, and spirit. THRIVE - TVC provides Veterans with access to programs that can help toward career, vocational and financial growth. is to ensure every Veteran who served our country is provided resources for mental health, PTSD, and suicide prevention. In 2021, Eric co-founded 22 Salute, a social enterprise selling Veteran-made Spirits, starting with a charcoal filtered vodka, and South Texas Mesquite Smoked Coffee. A portion of each product sold is donated back to The Veterans Connection to further help Veteran and First Responder communities. This means every item sold helps toward saving a life.
